Pedon par hai gaati chidiya

Pedon par hai gaati chidiya,
mann ko bahut lubhaati chidiya,

sundar-sundar mithe swar mein,
gaati jaakar sabke ghar mein.

achhe-achhe raag sunaati,
sundar sundar dhun mein gaati.

sabhi dekh kar daud lagaate,
lekin usko pakad na paate.

pedon par hai gaati chidiya,
mann ko bahut lubhaati chidiya.
